November’s field trip took us to the Seattle Art Museum to view the Picasso Exhibit. While we were in Seattle we took avantage of touring the International District. We shopped at Uwajimaya, the Asian market, and lunched on fresh made noodles from a small family owned Noodle house. The highlight of the day was the Metro bus ride from the International District to SAM.

December – Back to Seattle and the Moore Theater

Group in front of Seattle Public Market

In front of the Market

Early December we found ourselves back in Seattle walking to the beautiful renovated Moore Theater to watch International Youth Dancers. The skilled dancers were from a cultural dance troop in Seattle. After the show we walked down to the waterfront to eat our sack lunches then toured the Seattle Market Place.

We formed small touring groups and every one found the Candy Shop.

Grotto Projects

A children’s picture book  “What Snowmen do at Night?” was the inspiration of the new year’s art project. The Senior class are giving motion to their claymation “snowmen”.
